This person works with you and will guide you through the processes. The first thing they will have you do is prequalify so they know what range you can afford and show you those houses. Some owners will not even let an agent show the house if you are not prequalified. The Buyer's agent is paid for by the seller at closing so do NOT sign a contract stating you will pay anything.
