Expired MLS listings?

I found I house I really like and want to view the MLS listing, but the owner took it off the market a couple of months ago. If I have the MLS #, is there any way I can view the information/pictures of the house as it was posted on the MLS when it was originally for sale?

Can I view the original MLS listing even though it was canceled? Is there a site that allows someone to view an expired listing? I had a realtor provide me all of the previous listing a house had even though they were canceled, but I don’t want to get a realtor involved in the transaction. I just want to see the pictures of the inside house to make sure I want to inquire with the owner.

MLS associations do not make expired listings available to the general public. If you want to view the listing information, you will need to contact a realtor to print off the expired listing for you.

is there any written rule that defines what the square footage on MLS listing musr represent? i.e. if the MLS says 2,500 ft, does that mean 2,500ft under AC?…thanks!!

UNder A/C? No.

2,500 feet of permitted living space. the house may actually have more square footage, but with no building permit it is not counted.

Flat Fee MLS Listings – flatfeelisting.com refuses a refund?

I paid flatfeelisting.com almost $400 to list my property.
4 months went by before I heard from an agent.
I gaven them the details but they failed to list my property on mls.
2 years passed, Flatfeelisting.com refuses to provide a refund
I now live in the UK (they knew this when I paid for the listing)
Flatfeelisting did recently offer a "credit towards a future listing" but that wont happen I am in the UK. They also said I "canceled" and it is a $75 deduction. I never canceled anything. Can I file a small claims lawsuit online? I contacted the NJ board of realtors but had no answer, also MLS. I feel defrauded. If there are any state regs that pertain to this matter please let me know.

Unfortunately this happens with so called "low cost real estate agencies" or "limited service agencies". The lister does not have a local contact to deal with and usually gets what they pay for. You should have stayed on top of them and not let 4 months go by. If you dealt with a full service agency yyou would have someone to see early on. I’m not sure what the NJ Board of Realtors can do as the agency probably isn’t a member in the first place. You could try the NJ Real Estate Commission but uif the company isn’t based or licensed in NJ I don’t know what they can do.

I’m pretty sure i’ve come up to a website that searches the listings, but isn’t one of those realtor.com or homes.com websites…
OR WHAT IS THE BEST SITE TO LOOK FOR HOMES FOR SALE?

Realtor.com is the most comprehensive site I know of. I think it includes all MLS listings, but there is a couple day delay between the initial listing on MLS and the listing on realtor.com

what do abbreviation on mls listings mean?

Sorry for the confusion. I know what MLS stands for, but I was specifically referring to the "status" field. There are abbreviations like "P" for pending and "PB" for pending with backup offers accepted. I would like to know if there is a listing the explains all of these codes.

M=Multiple L=Listings S=Service but what kind of abbreviations in the mls do you need?
